Our doggy boutique is focused on your dog’s health and happiness. Here is a small sampling of items we have on offer.
Chews and Treats
Dogs love to chew. Chewing is relaxing and enjoyable for dogs. Why not make it a healthy choice too? We offer a wide selection of tempting chews made from single natural ingredients such as hooves, pizzles, tails or tendons. You will know exactly what you are feeding. Likewise in our treat selection. Some are single ingredients, for example Tendertips are 100% lung. Others are limited-ingredient where you can pronounce the names of all of the contents. No artificial flavours or colouring.
Foods
We stock a limited number of high quality dog foods that offer solid value for money. You won’t find “fillers” nor artificial colours & flavours in our selections. These Canadian manufacturers are all family-owned.
Smack
Smack Dog Food is quite simply a superfood. It is fully dehydrated raw so food safety is ensured. However, since it is dry, you can scoop it like kibble. Made from fresh meats and organic produce, it is also made without synthetic mineral premixes. Smack comes in chicken, pork and fish varieties.
Hurraw
Hurraw is made with human-grade ingredients and without additives. It is fully dehydrated raw to ensure food safety. As it is dry, you can scoop it like kibble. Hurraw comes in pork, turkey and fish varieties.
Legacy, Pulsar and Amicus
Horizon Pet Food offers an array of good quality kibble manufactured at lower temperatures to retain nutrients. Their products are gluten & gmo free with a low glycemic index. Amicus is formulated for small breed dogs with smaller morsels and serves the higher metabolism of small dogs. Pulsar offers 5 formulas that allow rotation among the proteins. Legacy has 4 newly improved formulas that now include colostrum for stronger immunity.
Petkind Tripe Dry
PetKind offers a variety of different protein formulas, all including green tripe. (“Green” means unbleached and unprocessed, i.e. fresh.) The Tripe Dry formulas are free from artificial preservatives, byproducts, corn, soy, grains or wheat.

Slow Feeders
Many dogs gulp their food like there’s no tomorrow which is not a good idea. It’s a choking hazard and often adds a lot of air being swallowed so it is better for the dog to eat slower.
From the enrichment point of view, it’s also nice to extend the time it takes for the dog to eat their meals. After all, dog’s ancestors hunted all day long for their food yet we use food bowls today. Using slow feeders can enrich the experience the dog has with food. We have several kinds available, ranging from wobblers and baffle bowls to licking mats and snuffle mats.
Toys
Toys for a dog are literally anything they want to play with! We stock a selection of interactive toys (play between your dog and you) and some that you would supervise (those which are soft & fuzzy with squeakers). Nothing is truly indestructible but we have some that are close.
Useful things
It’s hard to pick the most useful things in the shop. We carry a number of things that make your dog-owning life a lot easier. For example, while supplies last we have some really nice leashes in a variety of colours. They are are lined with recycled bicycle inner tubes so they are soft on your hands. Whistles are one good way of teaching your dog to come when called.
Everyone in NB should be checking their dogs for ticks …. here’s a nifty little tool if you happen to find one. These dog mats are lovely and soft and super, super absorbent. The perfect accessory for your home or car.
